Salt Institute Leading industry organization that provides excellent information and also shows a US salt map.

Injection Wells The State of California Department of Conservation provides general information on injection wells as well as regulatory information for the state.
Gateway Storage Company Gateway Storage Company Ltd plans to build an underground natural gas storage facility featuring salt caverns located beneath the East Irish Sea. When completed, the caverns will have a working capacity of 1.52 billion standard cubic meters (~562 million therms or 54 bcf), adding nearly 30% to the current gas storage capacity in the UK market

Mississippi Oil and Gas Board The Mississippi Oil and Gas Board regulates and promotes oil and gas drilling, production, and storage in the state of Mississippi.
TCEQ Mining and Mineral Extraction The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) provides environmental regualtions to follow in mining operations or in the extraction of mineral resources in the state of Texas.
Railroad Commission of Texas: Oil and Gas Division Under the Texas Administrative Code, the Railroad Commission of Texas Oil and Gas Division regulates the oil and gas industry to prevent the waste of resources and to protect property rights and the environment.
